Open an existing archive (Zip, Rar, Ace, etc.) file

To open an existing archive file, first you need to run PicoZip. In this tutorial, we show you how to open a Zip file.

1. In PicoZip's main window, click on the "Open" button as shown below:

2. Now, you will be shown the "Open Archive ..." dialog box below. You can browse around to locate the Zip file you are trying to open. Once you find the Zip file you want to open, select it by clicking on it, then click the "Open" button.

3. You should now be back in the main window, and it should list all the files inside the Zip file you selected earlier.
