PicoZip Toolbar Skins - Technical Info

Here is the information you need to create your own toolbar skins. Please note that the easiest way to create your own PicoZip Toolbar Skins is to download our FREE PicoZip Skin Creator (274KB). The information below is only useful if you want to create the skin manually.

The PicoZip toolbar skin package is a standard ZIP file containing the following files:

  • PicoZipSkin.dat - This is a plain text file. The first line must be "PicoZipSkinName=YourSkinName". Replace YourSkinName with the name of your toolbar skin.
  • big.bmp - This is the big toolbar icons. Size should be 800x32 pixels. There are 25 32x32 pixel icons in this bitmap. For the order of the icons, please see below.
  • bigd.bmp - This is the disabled (grayed out) version of the big toolbar icons.
  • small.bmp - This is the small toolbar icons (also used in menus). Size should be 400x16 pixels. There are 25 16x16 pixel icons in this bitmap. For the order of the icons, please see below.
  • smalld.bmp - This is the disabled (grayed out) version of the toolbar icons.
