Quick Start : Wizard Interface Start
the PicoZip wizard by clicking the Wizard toolbar button or choose Wizard
from the File menu. You need to do this before proceeding with either
of the following tasks. Creating A New Archive 1. Select Create a new archive file and click the Next button. 2. Type the filename you want to use for your new archive (including the full path, e.g. “C:\Temp\TestArc.zip”). Alternatively, you can click on the Browse button to locate the directory in which you want to place your new archive, type the filename and click the Open button. After that, click the Next button. 3. Now, click the Add Files button, then select the files that you want to add to your new archive and click the Add button. You can repeat this step as many times as necessary to add all the required files. 4. Click the Finish button to create the new archive. You can now click the Close button to return to the PicoZip window, or click the Next button to perform another task.
Extracting Files From An Archive 1. Select Extract all files from an existing archive and click the Next button. 2. Click on the Browse button to locate the archive file you want to extract, then click the Open button. After that, click the Next button. 3. Now, enter the full path (e.g. c:\temp) to the folder where you want to place the extracted files. Alternatively, you can click on the Browse Folder button to locate the folder you wish to use. 4. Click the Finish button to complete the extraction. You can now click the Close button to return to the PicoZip window, or click the Next button to perform another task.
