Manage Backups Dialog Box

This dialog box allows you to manage your Backup Sets and run many backups at once.

Manage Backup Sets

· Create a New Backup Set : Click the Create button. The New Backup Set dialog box will be displayed.

· Modify a Backup Set : Select a Backup Set from the list of Backup Sets, then click the Modify button. The Edit Backup Set dialog box will be displayed.

· Remove a Backup Set : Select a Backup Set from the list of Backup Sets, then click the Remove button. You will be prompted for confirmation. Click the Yes button to confirm delete.

Run Many Backups Together

Check all the Backup Sets you want to backup by clicking on the checkbox beside each Backup Set name. After that, click the Run Backup button. All the checked Backup Sets will be backed up in sequence.

Tip: If you want to check or uncheck all the backup sets, right click within the Backup Sets list box. A popup menu will appear with options to do this in a single click.


View Archives in a Backup Set

You can view the archive file(s) in a Backup Set by selecting a Backup Set, then right click it. A popup context menu will be displayed. Select View Archives in Backup Set from the context menu. PicoZip will open an Explorer window showing all archive files located in the Backup Storage Folder of the selected Backup Set.


Create a Shortcut to a Backup Set On the Desktop

You can create a shortcut on the desktop to run a Backup Set by selecting it, the right click it. A popup context menu will be displayed. Select Create Shortcut On Desktop from the context menu. A shortcut will now be placed on your Windows desktop. Double-clicking this shortcut will run the Backup Set directly without having to run PicoZip first.


Copy Command-line to Clipboard

You can copy the command-line required to run a Backup Set by selecting it, the right click it. A popup context menu will be displayed. Select Copy Command-line to Clipboard from the context menu. You can now paste the command-line anywhere you like. This is useful when you want to perform backup automatically using Windows scheduling feature, batch files or some other utility.
