There are two license agreements in this page. If you have an evaluation version of PicoZip, please read the section titled PicoZip Evaluation License. If you have registered your copy of PicoZip by paying the licensing fees, please read the section titled PicoZip Standard License.

By using, copying, transmitting, distributing or installing PicoZip, you agree to all the terms of this License. If you do not agree to any of the terms of this License, do not use, copy, transmit, distribute, or install PicoZip.

PicoZip is not free software. Subject to the terms below, you are hereby licensed by Softchitect to use this software for testing purposes without charge for a period of 30 days, starting from the day you install PicoZip. Unregistered use of PicoZip after the 30 day evaluation period is a violation of U.S. and international copyright laws. You may distribute copies of this evaluation version of PicoZip to anyone, provided it is not modified in any way. You are free to include copies of this evaluation version of PicoZip on CD-ROM or any other media providing that you do NOT charge the end-users for the software, and that you inform us at sales@picozip.com describing when and how you wish to distribute the software. You may not repackage or make alterations to any file in the original PicoZip distribution. You are strictly prohibited from charging or requesting any form of payment, for any copies, however made, without prior written permission from Softchitect. Softchitect reserves the right to revoke the above distribution rights at any time.

You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

This software, and all accompanying files, data and materials, are distributed "AS IS" and without warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied. In no event shall Softchitect, or its principals, shareholders, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, subsidiaries, or parent organizations, be liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever relating to the use of PicoZip, or your relationship with Softchitect.

This Agreement is the complete statement of the Agreement between the parties on the subject matter, and merges and supersedes all other or prior understandings, purchase orders, agreements and arrangements.

All rights of any kind in PicoZip which are not expressly granted in this License are entirely and exclusively reserved to and by Softchitect. You may not rent, lease, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works based on PicoZip. You may not make access to PicoZip available to others in connection with a service bureau, application service provider, or similar business, or use PicoZip in a business to provide file compression, decompression, or conversion services to others.

This registered copy of PicoZip may be installed on computers used by one single person only, or it may be installed on one computer used non-simultaneously by several persons, but NOT both. This is NOT a concurrent use license. You may not install this copy of PicoZip for access through any network, without first obtaining a license for each computer that will access PicoZip over that network, regardless of whether they are accessing PicoZip concurrently or otherwise.

You are strictly prohibited from distributing registered copies of PicoZip. To do so would be a violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

Self-extracting archives created using this evaluation version of PicoZip contains copyrighted software, proprietary notices and other identifying information, which may NOT be modified or altered in any way. You may use PicoZip to create and/or distribute an unlimited number of self-extracting archive files.
