Convert Archive Format This
feature allows you to convert an archive from one format to another. To perform
this operation, choose Convert Archive Format from the Tools menu.
The Convert Archive dialog box appears. You can set the following parameters: · Input Filename : Enter the filename of the archive that you would like to convert. If you have a currently opened archive, its filename is automatically inserted here for you. · Output Filename : Enter the filename of the converted archive. · Output Format : Select the format of the converted archive. PicoZip supports conversion to 8 different formats: .bh, .cab, .lha, .lzh, .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .jar. · Perform Integrity Check : Check this if you want PicoZip to perform an integrity check after doing the conversion. · Delete Original File After Convert : Check this if you want PicoZip to delete the original archive file after performing the conversion. Click on the Convert button after setting the above parameters. A dialog
box will inform you when the archive has been successfully converted. You can also convert an archive from within Windows Explorer by right clicking
on the archive you want to convert, then choose Convert Archive Format from
the popup context menu. The same Convert Archive dialog box mentioned
above will be displayed. If you want to convert many archives, use the batch convert feature to save time. |
