View Tab

You can configure the settings below by clicking on the View tab in the Configuration dialog box.

· Enable full row select : The default method of selecting a file in PicoZip is to click on the filename (similar to Windows Explorer). If you check this option, you can select a file by clicking anywhere along the same row as the file.

· Show grid lines : Check this option to display grid lines in the file listing to separate rows and columns in the main PicoZip window.

· Always reset sorting to first column : If you check this option, the file list in the main window will always be sorted on the first column when you open or create a new archive file.

· Set Font : You can select the font type, size, color, etc. that you would like PicoZip to use when displaying the list of files in the main window.


File Selection

· Double click to open a file : This is the default method of selecting files. If you select this option, you click once to select a file or double click to open it.

· Single click to open a file : If you select this option, hovering the mouse cursor over a file for a while will select it, and clicking once will open it. When this option is selected, you have three choices on how you want PicoZip to underline files:

· Underline file name when mouse over : When you move your mouse cursor over a file, it will be underlined.

· Never underline file names : All files in the list will not be underlined.

· Always underline file names : All files in the list will be underlined, similar to how hyperlinks are underlined in your web browser.

· Default Explorer Panel tab when starting PicoZip : You can select which tab you want PicoZip to show by default everytime you start PicoZip:

· Last Selected Tab : Show the tab that was selected the last time you run PicoZip.

· My Computer : Show the My Computer tab where you can browse for archive files.

· Archive : Show the Archive tab where you can browse the folders within an archive file.

· Always switch to archive tab on file open : If you check this option, PicoZip will automatically switch to the Archive tab everytime you open an archive file.
