Folders Tab

You can configure the settings below by clicking on the Folders tab in the Configuration dialog box.

Open Folder

These options determine which folder is automatically displayed in the Open Archive dialog box by default. Available options are:

· System default : PicoZip changes to the default system folder.

· Last open folder : PicoZip changes to the folder containing the most recently opened archive file.

· Folder : PicoZip always changes to the folder you specify here.


Add Folder

These options determine which folder is automatically displayed in the Add dialog box by default. Available options are:

· Same folder as the archive file : PicoZip changes to the same folder as the currently open archive.

· Last add folder : PicoZip changes to the folder you used in the last Add operation.

· Folder : PicoZip always changes to the folder you specify here.



Extract Folder

These options determine which folder is automatically displayed in the Extract dialog box by default. Available options are:

· Same folder as the archive file : PicoZip changes to the same folder as the currently open archive.

· Last extract folder : PicoZip changes to the folder you used in the last Extract operation.

· Folder : PicoZip always changes to the folder you specify here.



Checkout Base Folder

This option allows you to specify the default base folder to use for Check Out. If no folder is specified here, PicoZip will use the same folder as the open archive for Check Out.


Temporary Folder

This option allows you to specify the temporary folder that PicoZip will use when compressing files. If no folder is specified here, PicoZip will use the default temporary folder provided by Windows.
