Batch Add to Archive Use this to add a set of files to many existing archives. Choose Batch Add to Archive from the Tools menu, then follow the steps below: 1. Select the target archive files which you would like to add some files to. Click the Add button to choose the files. You can repeat this as many times as necessary to add as many archive files as you want. To remove any file from the list, select it, then click the Remove button. Click the Next button to proceed. 2. Select files which you would like to add to all the archive files you selected in the previous step. The Add and Remove button works the same as in step 1. In the Add Options, you can set the following items: Compression - the compression level of files being added. Overwrite files without prompting - If you check this option, PicoZip will overwrite any file with the same name in the existing archives without prompting you. Save full path info - If you check this option, PicoZip will save the full path for the files being added. Click the Next button to proceed. 3. You will be shown the progress window which shows the current status of this batch operation. If you want to cancel this batch operation, click the Cancel button. Note that canceling a batch operation may take a while since PicoZip will complete its current task before stopping. All files up to the point you click Cancel would have been processed completely. 4. Once the batch operation is completed, you will be shown the results screen.
You can click on the Copy to Clipboard button to copy the results to
Windows clipboard, or click the Save to File button to save the results
to a text file. Click the Close button to exit. If you only want to add files to a single existing archive, read this instead. Other batch features: Batch Convert Archive Format, Batch Create Archive, Batch Extract, Batch Make .EXE, Batch Test, Batch Virus Scan
